Today it's the first day of The Olfactory. Visitors can explore The Olfactory just by smelling. The first exhibition is dedicated to Andy Warhol. Andy Warhol loved perfumes and fragrances. He had a big collection of perfumes. For more info about the First exhibition follow this link!

By exploiting the subjective, associative impact of smells, in combination with visual images, Peter De Cupere generates a kind of meta-sensory experience that goes beyond purely seeing or smelling. Plastic artist De Cupere paints with scents, produces olfactory objects, soap paintings and sculptures, creates video and live performances, makes three-dimensional drawings and builds poetic smell installations.
Peter is the founder of The Olfactory. He is s a visual artist working with fragrance and researcher at the Research Department at the Mad-Faculty, University College PXL in Hasselt, teaching Media Lab Fine Arts and coordinator of the Master Studio Art Vision Lab.
