De eerste 200 bezoekers ontvangen een gratis editie lipstick.

Op 23 september tussen 11:30u en 13:30u bezochten 200 bezoekers 'The Olfactory' en ontvingen ze een gratis editie lipstick. Het enige dat ze moesten doen was met de lipstick een kus geven aan de geur / geuren die ze lekker vonden. De geuren waren aangebracht op een blanco schildersdoek. Zo maakten ze ook deel uit van het werk door een afdruk van hun lippen toe te voegen. De gebruikte lipstick mochten ze als editie van deze happening gratis mee naar huis nemen.

By exploiting the subjective, associative impact of smells, in combination with visual images, Peter De Cupere generates a kind of meta-sensory experience that goes beyond purely seeing or smelling. Plastic artist De Cupere paints with scents, produces olfactory objects, soap paintings and sculptures, creates video and live performances, makes three-dimensional drawings and builds poetic smell installations.
Peter is the founder of The Olfactory. He is s a visual artist working with fragrance and researcher at the Research Department at the Mad-Faculty, University College PXL in Hasselt, teaching Media Lab Fine Arts and coordinator of the Master Studio Art Vision Lab.
