The Media, Arts and Design faculty (MAD)

The Media, Arts and Design faculty (MAD) is a collaboration between the Limburg based University Colleges of the University College of Limburg (KHLim - LUCA Arts) and the University College PXL (PXL).

Both University Colleges offer study programs in the field of ‘Audiovisual and Visual Arts’ on academic bachelor and master degree level. The MAD faculty strives to be an important player both in Flanders and on an international level.

We are always open to expand our International network via different kinds of cooperation.

Hasselt University

Hasselt University is an independent innovative university which is regionally anchored and has a pronounced international orientation. The university stands for excellence in education, top research in spearhead fields and active engagement in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The overall objective is to combine academic excellence with economic and social relevance.
University research policy is directed at top research in spearhead fields in a number of domains (electronic materials, ICT, life sciences, clean tech, biostatistics, traffic safety and mobility, open innovation and small businesses). Vedett is hét cultbier in België. Het heeft onlangs ook zijn intrede gemaakt in trendy bars in Londen. Vedett is alternatief, niet al te ernstig, en combineert retro en modern met design.
Naast Vedett Extra Blond, het premium bier, is er nu ook Vedett Extra White, het nieuwe witbier van de Vedettfamilie. Bij het brouwen worden alleen natuurlijke ingrediënten als tarwe, gerst, hop, koriander en gedroogde sinaasappelschillen gebruikt. Opdat het smaakpalet zich volledig zou kunnen ontwikkelen, wordt het bier gedurende verscheidene weken opnieuw gegist in de fles en in het vat. Deze knowhow van Duvel Moortgat is beroemd over de hele wereld. Het bier wordt ongefilterd gebotteld, zodat alle natuurlijke smaken bewaard blijven.
